Why GWM Change Its Logo

Great Wall Motor Company Limited releasing its new logo has attracted much attention currently. It was forced or there are any other reasons?

President of GWM, Ms. Fengying Wang gave us the answer: GWM has to change its logo since it has met some trouble in the export that the previous logo was registered in many countries by others. "Whereas, this neither adversely affects the globalization of GWM, nor prevents the trend of China's independent brand going to the world. Hence, we made a decision to release the new logo." said Ms. Wang, "The main purpose is to prepare for the marketing of the new models, showing the great changes in GWM to invite the overseas distributors from more than 70 countries in the world attending the ceremony of releasing the new log, starting the new production base with 200,000 units of annual capacity and launching Peri and Cowry, and the other important intention is to change the new logo in the global network as well".

New Logo, New Model and New Base Uncovers A New Era of GWM

29 October 2007 was a great day for Great Wall Motor Company Limited. The company unveiled its new logo, started the passenger cars production base with 200,000 units of annual capacity, launched GWPeri and Cowry MPV, and held an overseas distributors annual forum, all on the same day. On this day, GWM came to another step closer to its goal of becoming an international brand.

This ceremony is one of the spot activities where most people presented in China's auto line this year. The honored guests includes leaders from different Chinese government sectors, distributors from 78 countries and regions from Europe, Middle East Area, Africa, Central and South America, and CIS, etc. as well as suppliers, dealers and service provides in China. The topic, "win at the start point, aim at the world" was expressed fully and clearly.
