20 GW SUVs and Pickups Donated to the Disaster Area at a Top Speed

An earthquake happened in WenChuan, Sichuan Province, China. When this news passed to Baoding, the top management of GWM decided immediately in the evening of 12 May to donate 20 GW SUV and Pickup to the disaster area as the rescue vehicles via Red Cross. These donated vehicles values circa two million RMB, all suitable for the various harsh environments with high-performance on loading, hauling, etc.

A ceremony for the employees to donate was also held in the same day. Thousands of GW employees joined. The amount was already up to over 200, 000.00RMB by the time of writing.

“We feel so bad for such a severe natural disaster happened in our country. As an enterprise responsible for the society, not only the self interest should be taken into consideration, but also doing its utmost to support the disaster area”, the chairman of GWM expressed.
